Plastron CRO provides an end-to-end service for microgravity life science missions. Our mission Bio-ConOps provides pre-flight mission verification, rapid flight qualification and dedicated mission support with ground-based payload control sample monitoring. We support and collaborate with all stages of the mission life cycle from pre-launch, through flight and re-entry and repatriation as a seamless service offer.
Our ambition is to support commercialisation of research and commercial production of life sciences and biotech to high regulatory and space engineering safety standards.
We integrate our Bio-ConOps across the mission life cycle, supporting supply chain partners from our base at Babraham Research Campus in the UK to design, deliver and qualify early stage, translational and commercial research missions to the required standards for repeatability, academic publication and commercial production at scale.
Our approach is to deliver microgravity life sciences as a low-risk, high-turnaround service model where ideation through to mission completion is completed in under 18 months.
Through our approach to Microgravity as a Service (MaaS), we broker all stages of the mission on behalf of each end customer with a dedicated set of European mission partners.
